These vegetarian Fryums papads can be made by the sun drying method. The Chechnya papads are made up of rice flour, unlike others that are made up of pulses. The rice flour is kneaded to make perfect dough along with spices and rolled out to make papads.

Shree Swami Samarth Papad Udyog Kendra was born 30 years ago.Our founder was Shri who started with a small shop on rent in kumbhar ali area of Pen rigion. Initially we were making about 30 kgs per day and since last 30 years we have expanded today to 10000 kgs per day of production.

Our traditional Papads are made from heirloom recipes with original ingredients. Unlike commercially available papads today which are made using Soda-bi-carbonate, we use an ancient ingredient called “Sajji-Khar” which lends the papads its unique flavor making it pliable and gut-friendly. Papads were meant to be eaten as an accompaniment at the end of the meal to lower the glycemic index of the food, thus keeping us full for longer. This is why most papads are made with daals and seeds.

How LOW SALT?
- Unlike commercial papads all our papads are made with Papad Khar or Sajj salt. Sajji was traditionally used to make papads by our ancestors. Today commercial papad manufacturers use cheap substitutes for Saji like Soda Bicarbonate which makes the Papad high in Sodium thus causing lifestyle diseases like Blood pressure and are bad for the stomach.
Our papads don’t stick to the jaws like commercial papads do because they are made with premium ingredients and spices using artisanal techniques our ancestors had used. These are not mass-produced, factory-made papads. Ours are hand made, sun-dried which is evident from the fact that they may slightly vary in size.
Its mildly spiced with black pepper just like our Grandma’s used to make.
